- the Worldwide Television television series "UK Today" featured a profile of Cheng Yu. It is broadcast monthly in more than 150 countries as well as by several major airlines.
The programme featuring Cheng Yu was shown in February, 2001.
- the Chinese television series "Across England" made a programme featuring Cheng Yu. Each half hour programme in the 13 part series documents a Chinese artist living in England.
It is to be broadcast by China's main national broadcast company CCTV in China in 2001.
