This, the 29th meeting of the London Youlan Qin Society, was held at the home of Julian Joseph in Chippenham, Wiltshre.

Introduction

There was no formal introduction. Despite the distance from London, some 15 people attended, one person having travelled all the way from Glasgow. After a particularly fine lunch, all players played at least one piece. Dannung Ing gave a short talk on the uses of talcum powder to reduce friction when mounting strings on a qin, and while playing. Details are in his article on the Members' Articles page.
