Introduction

This, the 50th meeting of the London Youlan Qin Society, was held in the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

  12. Fenghuang Tai shang Yi Chui Xiao 凤凰台上忆吹箫 (Remembering Playing the Xiao at Phoenix Terrace), poem by Li Qingzhao, Song Dynasty, recited by Jiang Cheng
  13. Ru Meng Ling 如梦令 (Like a Dream), a poem from the Story of the Stone, Ming Dynasty, recited by Jiang Cheng; xiao accompaniment: Qiu Chuan Yu Xi 秋窗風雨夕 (Wind and Rain by the Window on an Autumn Evening), played by Dennis Lee
  14. Wang Jiangnan 望江南 (Gazing at the South - Beyond the Yangtse), by Li Yu (937-978), the last emperor of the Southern Tang, deposed by the Song; recited by Marnix Wells
  15. Two poems, composed and recited by Shu Jun
