This, the 32nd meeting of the London Youlan Qin Society, was held at the home of Sarah Moyse in southwest London.

Introduction

This yaji, our smallest yet, was very informal. After an excellent lunch, all players played several pieces. We were pleased to welcome new member Brenda Li, and to welcome back Jenny Zhao, on a short visit to London from Shanghai.

  14. Long Shuo Cao 龙朔操, (Lament of Zhao Jun) played by Charlie Huang according to his own interpretation of the score in the Shenqi Mipu
  15. Guangling San Xin Pu 广 陵散新谱 (New Score for Guangling San), from the  Shiyi Xian Guan Qinpu 十一弦馆琴谱. Played by Julian Joseph
  16. Guan Shan Yue 关山月 (Moon over the Mountain Pass) played by Brenda Li
All pieces were played on a qin fitted with steel/nylon strings except that marked *, which was played on a qin made by Ma Weiheng fitted with silk strings.
