This, the 31st meetingof theLondon Youlan Qin
Society, was held at the home of Sarah Moyse in southwest
London.
Introduction
There was no formal introduction. 13 people attended.
After
an excellent lunch, all players played at least one piece. Dennis Lee
had brought his xiao, and
Chen Jinwei had brought his guitar. So in addition to qin solos we were able to play qin and xiao duets, and people sang
Chinese, Japanese and English
folk songs, and recited Chinese and English poetry.
